Slipknot are back with new music.
The Iowa metal giants released their surprise new single, “Arsenal,” on September 9, marking the band’s first new song in more than three years.
The track arrives alongside a new music video directed by Slipknot percussionist and founding member M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan. The video stars actor Jackson White and continues the band’s long-running focus on dark, cinematic visuals to accompany their music.
“Arsenal” is being released through (sic)est Records / Roadrunner Records / Atlantic Records and gives fans their first taste of new Slipknot material since the band’s previous era.

While Slipknot have remained active touring, new studio music has been relatively quiet, making the unexpected arrival of “Arsenal” a significant release for the band and its fanbase.
The song also arrives as Slipknot continue moving forward creatively following years of lineup changes, touring, and the band’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
No additional album details have been announced yet, but “Arsenal” gives Slipknot fans something they have been waiting several years to hear: completely new music.
