LIVE REVIEW: OLIVIA DEAN – THE ART OF LOVING @ STATE FARM ARENA, ATLANTA, GA – AUGUST 22, 2026

The evening opened with Baby Rose, setting a special mood before Olivia Dean even took the stage. Olivia’s performance in Atlanta felt like more than just a concert – it was like stepping into an incredibly beautiful world. The lighting, dresses, and stage design all came together seamlessly, reflecting her elegance and sophistication. Her live vocals and genuine connection with the audience created a sense of intimacy even in such a huge arena.

The beginning of the show felt light and effortless. Olivia appeared in an elegant black dress, played guitar, and spent plenty of time talking with the audience. One thing I especially loved was that every song had a story behind it. Olivia shared those stories with the crowd, explaining what inspired her to write the songs and the emotions she had put into them. It made the concert feel even more personal and created a special connection between her and the audience.

From the very first moments, it was clear how thoughtfully designed the visual side of the show was. The musicians and backing vocalists were dressed beautifully and elegantly, perfectly complementing Olivia’s look. Their styling, the lighting, their placement on stage, and the set design all felt like parts of one cohesive concept. At the same time, the musicians and backing vocalists had a presence of their own and were an essential part of the show’s live sound.

Olivia’s dresses deserve special mention. She changed three times throughout the evening, and each dress seemed to introduce a new chapter of the show. After the elegant black dress, she appeared in my personal favorite  a delicate white bell-shaped dress. Wearing it, Olivia moved to a second, flower-shaped stage, and the mood of the concert shifted with her. This part of the show felt especially soft and intimate.

One of the most memorable moments of the evening came when Olivia stepped off the stage and ran right into the audience. The crowd greeted her with incredible excitement, making it one of the most spontaneous and unforgettable moments of the entire concert.

Then the mood shifted once again. Olivia returned to the main stage in a sparkling dress, disco balls appeared, and the show filled with more light, movement, and energy. At the beginning, you simply wanted to listen to her voice and take in every story she told; by this point, the concert had transformed into a full-on celebration, the entire arena was dancing. It was incredible to see how naturally the show evolved from its light, relaxed beginning into such a vibrant and energetic finale.

The Art of Loving came alive on stage,  romantic, soulful, and emotional. The finale became the true culmination of the evening: “Man I Need,” the incredible energy of the entire arena, and a burst of confetti. It was a spectacular ending to a concert that will be difficult to forget.

An unforgettable evening of pure musical and visual beauty.
