The Darkness North American Tour 2025

British rock titans The Darkness have officially announced their 2025 North American tour, and it’s shaping up to be a glorious celebration of excess, melody, and all things flamboyant. Known for their over-the-top stage presence, razor-sharp riffs, and falsetto-driven anthems, the band is hitting the road this fall to deliver their signature blend of glam rock theatrics and tongue-in-cheek swagger to fans across the continent.

Titled the “Dreams On Toast” tour, this run supports their latest studio album, Dreams On Toast, released in March 2025. The album has been praised for capturing The Darkness at their peak, blending their classic sound with new musical explorations.

A Setlist Built for Nostalgia

If you’ve ever blasted Permission to Land through your car speakers or tried to hit Hawkins’ high notes in the shower, this tour is made for you. Fans can expect a mix of classic hits like “I Believe in a Thing Called Love,” “Growing on Me,” and “Love Is Only a Feeling,” alongside new tracks from Dreams On Toast such as “The Longest Kiss” and “Walking Through Fire.”

The Return of Rock Theatrics

While many bands have opted for minimalist stage setups in recent years, The Darkness remains committed to spectacle. Expect wild outfits, synchronized high kicks, pyrotechnics, and some of the most delightfully outrageous stage banter you’ll hear all year. Justin Hawkins isn’t just a frontman — he’s a full-blown rock ‘n’ roll showman, blending Freddie Mercury charisma with a wink and a snarl.

And with Dan Hawkins (guitar), Frankie Poullain (bass), and Rufus Taylor (drums — yes, that’s Roger Taylor of Queen’s son) rounding out the lineup, the musicianship is as sharp and explosive as ever.

A Tour That Hits Hard and Wide

The 2025 tour kicks off in Pryor, Oklahoma, on August 29 and spans major cities across the U.S. and Canada, concluding on November 22 in Denver, Colorado. It’s a packed schedule that signals The Darkness isn’t just popping in for a victory lap — they’re here to reassert their place in the rock pantheon.

Permission to Land… Again (and Again)

The title of the tour may be cheeky, but there’s something poetic in it too. Permission to Land wasn’t just an album — it was a cultural moment. It reminded a generation that rock could still be fun, flamboyant, and larger than life. Now, in 2025, as the music world continues to evolve, The Darkness is reminding us of something just as important: rock isn’t dead — it just never stopped having fun.

Whether you’ve been a fan since the early 2000s or you’re just discovering their glam-infused magic, this tour is the perfect time to jump aboard the glitter-soaked rocket ship.
