Atlanta’s Coca-Cola Roxy turned into a temple of controlled chaos on October 19, 2025, as Mudvayne, Static-X, and Vended delivered one of the heaviest lineups of the fall. The night celebrated both legacy and evolution, proving that aggressive music still commands the stage with precision and emotion.

Vended Set the Tone

Des Moines up-and-comers Vended opened the night with sheer adrenaline. Their mix of modern metalcore and classic nu-metal energy showed why they’re one of the fastest-rising young bands on the scene. Reviews from earlier tour stops praised their intensity and maturity beyond their years, and Atlanta’s crowd got the same treatment. Their short but vicious set had fists in the air, mosh pits swirling, and fans shouting along by the second song. There was no sense of “opening act” here, Vended earned every ounce of attention they got.

Static-X Turned the Room into an Industrial Storm

Static-X followed with their signature blend of industrial rhythms and theatrical performance. Their “Evil Disco” presentation featured pounding bass, sharp lighting, and the surreal puppet and robot visuals that have become part of their act. The set likely mirrored earlier tour stops, opening with “Bled for Days” and closing with “Push It,” giving long-time fans exactly what they came for. The precision of the performance mixed with frontman Xer0’s commanding presence brought a cyber-metal atmosphere that felt equal parts concert and mechanical ritual. By the time their set wrapped, the room pulsed with electricity, both literal and emotional.

Mudvayne’s L.D. 50 Anniversary Set

The anticipation in the room broke when Mudvayne’s backdrop lit up, and the band launched into “Monolith” followed by “Dig.” From that moment, it was a full-scale eruption. Their Atlanta setlist included deep cuts and fan favorites: “Internal Primates Forever,” “-1,” “Severed,” “Death Blooms,” “Nothing to Gein,” and more. The focus of the night was clear, celebrating 25 years of their groundbreaking album L.D. 50 while showcasing the unrelenting force of their live presence.

Chad Gray commanded the stage with fierce charisma, switching between guttural screams and melodic phrasing while connecting deeply with the audience. Bassist Ryan Martinie’s playing was as jaw-dropping as ever, his tone shaking the venue to its foundation. Drummer Matthew McDonough and guitarist Greg Tribbett kept the grooves tight, creating a relentless wall of sound that reminded everyone why Mudvayne’s return has meant so much to the metal community.

Earlier tour reviews noted Chad taking a moment each night to speak about personal struggles and perseverance. That emotional depth carried through in Atlanta, offering fans a shared catharsis that balanced the night’s aggression. This wasn’t just a nostalgia trip, it was proof that Mudvayne still performs with intent, precision, and purpose.

A Night That Bridged Eras

From start to finish, the show flowed flawlessly. Vended lit the fire, Static-X fanned it into a storm, and Mudvayne delivered the explosion. Coca-Cola Roxy’s design made it feel intimate despite the crowd’s size, amplifying every riff, scream, and cheer. Mosh pits churned, crowd surfers rode the waves, and fans left drenched in sweat and satisfaction.

In the end, the Atlanta stop of this tour wasn’t just a concert, it was a statement. Three generations of heavy music collided on one stage, each showing why their sound still matters. For those who were there, it was a reminder that no matter how trends change, the energy of live metal remains untouchable.
