Election night in Atlanta came with plenty of noise, attitude, and political excitement as the Bitch Cabal Tour rolled into a sold-out The Eastern on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Co-headliners Wednesday and Mannequin Pussy brought two very different styles of alternative rock together, with Nashville punk outfit Snooper opening the night. Between the music, the packed venue, and election results rolling in across the country, this was anything but an ordinary Tuesday night.

The night kicked off with Snooper, a Nashville band formed in 2020 by vocalist Blair Tramel and guitarist Connor Cummins. Their frantic blend of punk, garage rock, and electronic influences has earned them a reputation in the underground scene, particularly for their fast-paced songs and unconventional live shows. Their 2025 album Worldwide, released through Third Man Records, continued building on the chaotic sound that first attracted attention.

Snooper’s music is quick, abrasive, and intentionally strange. It was a fitting way to get the night started, setting the tone for a bill that had little interest in playing by conventional rock rules.

Next came Asheville, North Carolina’s Wednesday, bringing a different kind of intensity to the evening. Led by vocalist and guitarist Karly Hartzman, the band blends shoegaze, alternative country, noise rock, and Southern storytelling into something distinctly its own. Their acclaimed 2023 album Rat Saw God helped introduce them to a much larger audience, while 2025’s Bleeds further developed their combination of distorted guitars, vulnerable songwriting, and occasionally explosive vocals.

Hartzman’s ability to move between softer passages and piercing screams is one of Wednesday’s defining characteristics. The band’s combination of heavy guitar distortion and pedal steel gives their music an unusual balance of Southern roots and abrasive alternative rock.

Election night added another dimension to Wednesday’s performance. With Democratic victories pointing toward a blue wave across the country, Hartzman’s excitement over the election results was hard to miss. She was clearly enjoying what was unfolding politically, adding an extra level of enthusiasm to an already charged evening. It was one of those rare nights when what was happening outside the venue became part of the experience inside it.

Closing out the sold-out evening was Philadelphia’s Mannequin Pussy, and they absolutely delivered. Fronted by Marisa Dabice, the band has spent more than a decade building a sound that moves between hardcore punk aggression and surprisingly melodic indie rock. Their fourth studio album, I Got Heaven, released through Epitaph Records in 2024, pushed those contrasts even further while tackling subjects ranging from personal relationships to religion and social frustration.

Dabice is a commanding frontwoman, and that intensity is a big part of what makes Mannequin Pussy such a compelling live band. Their music can shift from delicate vocals to full-throttle aggression without losing its direction. Alongside guitarist Maxine Steen, bassist Colins “Bear” Regisford, and drummer Kaleen Reading, Dabice has helped develop a sound that feels both confrontational and deeply personal.

At The Eastern, Mannequin Pussy brought plenty of attitude and an unapologetic punk spirit to the stage. Their raw, aggressive sound made for a powerful conclusion to the evening, showing exactly why the band has become such a respected name in modern punk. There is something about hearing that combination of vulnerability and aggression live that makes the music hit even harder.

The Bitch Cabal Tour gave Atlanta three bands with distinct personalities, all sharing a willingness to push boundaries. From Snooper’s unconventional punk to Wednesday’s emotionally charged Southern noise rock and Mannequin Pussy’s explosive closing performance, the sold-out show was a reminder of just how exciting this corner of alternative music has become. These are bands worth experiencing live, where their music hits with an intensity that recordings can only partially capture.
