The Flaming Lips have announced The Teardrop Throbs: Two Unique Performances, a tour that will bring the band to five cities across the United States and the United Kingdom between January and April 2027. The run consists of paired two-night engagements at each stop, spanning from Nashville to London.
The Flaming Lips Tour Announcement
The tour opens January 22 and 23 at Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville, Tennessee, followed by two nights at Irving Plaza in New York on January 26 and 27. The band will then head west for a pair of shows at The Bellwether in Los Angeles on February 23 and 24, before stopping in Chicago for two nights at Metro on February 27 and 28.
The tour concludes overseas with two performances at O2 Shepherds Bush in London on April 2 and 3, marking the only international dates of the run. Each city on the tour will host back-to-back shows, with the band performing two distinct sets as suggested by the tour’s title.
