Riot Fest returns to Chicago’s Douglass Park September 18–20 with Twenty One Pilots, Tool and Pierce The Veil closing out the three-day weekend.

The countdown to Riot Fest 2026 is officially on, and fans can now start figuring out exactly how they’re going to navigate one of the busiest festival weekends of the year.
Riot Fest has released its full daily schedule and set times for the 2026 festival, taking place September 18–20 at Douglass Park in Chicago. The three-day event will spread performances across five stages: Riot Stage, Roots Stage, Rebel Stage, Rise Stage and Radical Stage.
As usual with a lineup this stacked, the newly released schedule also brings plenty of decisions for fans trying to build their weekend.

Friday, September 18
Friday gets things started with a packed day that eventually leads into Twenty One Pilots, who will close the Riot Stage from 8:40–10:00 p.m.
Elsewhere, Pixies take over the Rebel Stage from 8:15–9:15 p.m., while Iggy Pop performs on the Rise Stage from 8:45–9:45 p.m. and GWAR closes the Radical Stage from 8:55–9:55 p.m.
Earlier Friday highlights include Rise Against, Alkaline Trio, The All-American Rejects, Santigold, Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, Bayside, Motion City Soundtrack, Slick Rick, Tricky, Joey Valence & Brae and Foxy Shazam.

Saturday, September 19
Saturday belongs to Tool, with the band scheduled for a massive 8:20–10:00 p.m. closing set on the Riot Stage.
The evening also features Nas from 9:00–10:00 p.m. on the Rise Stage, Bad Religion from 7:20–8:20 p.m. on the Rebel Stage and Morrissey from 7:00–8:15 p.m. on the Roots Stage.
Saturday’s lineup runs deep throughout the day with Social Distortion, Gogol Bordello, Chat Pile, Sugar, Descendents, Public Image Ltd, Less Than Jake, Bright Eyes, Thrice, The Suicide Machines, Destroy Boys and plenty more.

Sunday, September 20
Riot Fest closes Sunday night with Pierce The Veil, who take the Riot Stage from 8:25–9:55 p.m.
They’ll be joined across the festival grounds by Insane Clown Posse, also performing from 8:55–9:55 p.m., and Elvis Costello & The Imposters, scheduled from 8:30–9:30 p.m.
One of Sunday’s biggest sets comes a little earlier when Alanis Morissette takes the Roots Stage from 7:20–8:20 p.m. The final day also features Patti Smith and Her Band, Taking Back Sunday, Pennywise, The Format, Bowling For Soup, Cartel, Mom Jeans, Twin Peaks, The Flatliners, Good Riddance and This Is Lorelei.
With five stages running throughout each day, there are inevitably some tough overlaps. Riot Fest has also launched an online schedule builder allowing fans to put together their own weekend plans and compare schedules with friends.
