Mastodon Announce The Poisonous Weapons Tour with Deafheaven and Alcest

Mastodon Return to the Road with Deafheaven and Alcest for Fall North American Tour

Atlanta metal legends Mastodon are hitting the road this fall for The Poisonous Weapons Tour, bringing an impressive lineup of heavy music across North America. Joining the band on the run will be blackgaze pioneers Deafheaven and French atmospheric metal favorites Alcest.

The tour follows Mastodon’s new single “Your Ghost Again” and gives fans a chance to see one of modern metal’s most influential bands sharing the stage with two groups that have helped reshape the boundaries of heavy music over the last decade. From Mastodon’s progressive sludge metal roots to Deafheaven’s atmospheric intensity and Alcest’s dreamlike soundscapes, The Poisonous Weapons Tour promises a diverse night of heavy music.

The trek begins September 16 in Orlando and includes stops across the United States and Canada before Mastodon return home for an Atlanta date at The Eastern on October 22. The run wraps October 24 in Dallas at Sick New World Texas.
